Hispanic Community Ministry

The mission of the Hispanic Community is to encourage all members of St. Elizabeth Anne Seton to develop a stronger faith and understanding of their religion through involvement of church events conducted by the Hispanic Community.

Such events also introduce the Hispanic culture for the purpose of exposure and celebration.

Hispanic Community Goals:
The goal of the Hispanic Community is to encourage involvement of religious faith through involvement of church events such as the Prayer Group/Movimiento Familiar Cristiano, that will include grandparents, parents, children and non-church members…….

Hispanic Community Members:
Hilda Escobedo-Hispanic Community Coordinator/Quinceneara Coordinator; Antonia Rojas - Assistant Community Coordinator/Newcomers meetings; Rosario Vara / Eucarist Ministers Coordinator / Prayer Group Leader and also part of Movimiento Familiar Cristiano; Maria Ortiz  Altar Server Coordinator / Assistant Coordinator for the E.M.'s; Carlos Pereira - Lectors Coordinator; Rosa Posada - Assistant Coordinator  - Lectors; Ruben Rojas - Usher Coordinator; Maria Yepez - Arturo Sanchez - Assistant Coordinators - Ushers
 
Events and cultural traditions celebrated includes:
Prayer Group/Movimiento Familiar Cristiano – Weekly on Fridays @ 7 PM
Our Lady of Guadalupe – December 12th
Tamale Make & Sale – 2nd or 3rd Sunday in November
Independence Celebration Dance – Saturday before Independence Day, September 16th
Retiro Matrimonios
